LifeForce QiGong
Qigong has been a passion for Ben since 1990 when he was first introduced to the standing qigong practice of Zhan Zhuang (Standing like a Tree) which still makes up a core aspect of his personal and professional practice. He has studied many styles and forms of Qigong, Tai Chi and Kung Fu, including training with Chinese Grandmasters. His main practice is LifeForce Qigong, developed by his older brother Simon Calder, of which he is a certified international teacher. By far this has been the most profound system Ben has studied, both for its pragmatic language and its direct experience of the benefits of Qigong and the actual sensations of Qi that can be felt in the forms.

Ben has been working professionally as a Kinesiologist and Bowen Technique practitioner since 2003 and holds local clinics in Shrewsbury and Chester and teacvhes his classes, workshops and retreats in both Shrewsbury and North Wales where he lives.

LifeForce Qigong:
This weekly mindful movement class will give you an opportunity to come and practice and share some core elements of LifeForce Qigong (Energy Exercise), which is an easy form of Tai Chi focussing on health rather than martial applications.
The foundation classes focus on the level 1 & 2 core practices. They are essential practice for all levels of experience and will assist in effectively relaxing and loosening the body and mind.

Tuning the Fascia
Oceanic Spine
Postural Alignment
Building energy
5 Element seasonal practice
Spiral practices
and more.......

These practices can be used to develop and strengthen body, mind and spirit through movement, focus and energy exchange. It is a suitable practice for all ages and types of people and is a key factor in the Life-Force Qigong concept practised by Centre for Integral Health Founder Ben Calder.
Ben will share foundation practices from the System of Life-Force Qigong, which aim to dissolve tensions and restrictions in the body and improve our LifeForce Energy.
